Dr Hamid has a special interest in skin cancer and is a member of the Australian Skin Cancer Association and has aquired his Advanced Diploma of Skin Cancer Management. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Hamid has a background in primary health care and his focus is on prevention of skin cancers, early diagnosis and management of skin cancers in early stages.
