Margoth’s approach to counselling involves building a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients. She has a warm, compassionate and calm nature, which allows her to connect with a diverse range of individuals and assist them to work on personal and interpersonal life struggles. Margoth tailors her approach to each client’s personal needs, and works together with clients to find the most appropriate intervention strategy.
Margoth is a highly qualified counsellor with over 20 years experience in the field. She has professional qualifications across multiple disciplines, including Social Work, Psychotherapy, Children and Family counselling, and specializes in areas including PTSD, Disability, Domestic Violence, Sexual Abuse, Drugs and Alcohol Addiction and more. Margoth’s most recent academic endeavors has involved obtaining a Masters of Hypnotherapy and Coaching (MLP) and this may be used on its own as a modality or in conjunction with with more traditional forms of talk therapy. Margoth has a Bachelor of Social Science, and specializes in Counselling and Mediation and also holds a degree in Social Work. In addition, Margoth also has a diploma in Community and Human services and has extensive experience working with people with physical and psychosocial disabilities and diverse mental health conditions.
